Or make a suggestion…

If you know of or have visited an amazing kiddie-friendly venue in the vicinity of Stellenbosch that I haven’t posted about, please leave a comment so that I can go and check it out!

  1. Dunstone’s “The Stone Kitchen” is amazing too.
It has a jungle gym; trampoline; sandpit and a lovely lawn.

    • Thank you for the suggestion! Had a look on the internet and it looks like a kid’s dream. Making a mental note to check out Dunstone next time we venture out to Wellington.

  2. moyo Stellenbosch on the Spier Wine Estate has a children’s play area which is very cool too!

    • Thank your for your comment, Carla. We love Moyo and used to go there a lot before we started with our family. I didn’t realize Moyo has a kids’ play area and will definitely pay you a visit to check it out!

  3. Having been there for the first time in December 2013, I was shocked to see how quiet this place was given that it was the “festive season”, We got there just before sunset and there was all of about 15 people at venue and that included our group of 6. Sinovuyo on Route 304 Stellenbosch http://www.sinovuyo.co.za is a fab family restaurant/function venue for all types on functions. Its kinda hidden probably why they were’nt busy compared to the hustle & bustle all over the City at that time of year, this place was like a breath of fresh air! It has lovely Mountain views, a swimming pool which you can use during the summer months (parents supervision needed, however it is fenced off) & a jumping castle. With various catering options to choose from to suite all budgets or tastes, staff was friendly and efficient. Well worth a visit!

    • The timing of your suggestion is superb, ET, as our article on RideIn should be published by next week :) Watch this space…
